Clock in and check in using any phone.
ClockMeIn combines our proven Telephone Time Clock with the Elder Monitor System on a single, phone-based platform.
Ideal for: remote employees, field crews, home care providers, assisted living, and families who need a simple daily check-in.
Telephone Time Clock
Employees dial in, enter a PIN, and clock in/out. Every call is time-stamped and stored in the cloud for reporting and payroll.
Elder Monitor System
Seniors or caregivers call a dedicated number to check in. If they miss a scheduled check-in, the system flags it and can notify family or staff.
Telephone Time Clock for remote and on-site teams
ClockMeIn started as a telephone time clock service and has been used for years to track hours for remote and on-site workers without installing any hardware on-site.
How employees clock in by phone
- Employee calls your ClockMeIn time clock number.
- System prompts for an ID / PIN (or caller ID can be used as an extra check).
- Employee selects Clock In, Clock Out, or other options (breaks, job codes, etc. if you enable them).
- Event is time-stamped and stored in the database instantly.
You can restrict which caller IDs are accepted, require PIN entry, or both, depending on how strict you want access control to be.
Key features for businesses
- Supports distributed workforces (job sites, home-based staff, field crews).
- Works with any standard phone, no smartphones required.
- Centralized, cloud-based history for audit and payroll export.
- Configurable prompts and menu options per customer.
- Optional caller ID capture to see where calls originate.
A worker arrives at a job site, calls the ClockMeIn number from their cell phone, enters their PIN, and chooses “Clock In.” At the end of the shift, they call again and choose “Clock Out.” Supervisors later log into the web dashboard to view or export all events for that day or pay period.
Elder Monitor System – daily phone check-ins for seniors
The Elder Monitor System uses the same telephony and cloud backbone as the time clock, but is tuned for safety and wellness monitoring instead of payroll.
Simple phone-based check-ins
- Seniors call a dedicated Elder Monitor number on a regular schedule (for example, every morning).
- The system records the call, time-stamps it, and stores it as a “check-in event.”
- If a check-in window is missed, the event appears as an exception on the dashboard.
This can be used directly by families, or by care facilities that want a low-friction way to confirm that residents have checked in.
Alerts and dashboard visibility
- Web dashboard listing all recent events with status (on-time, late, missed, manual follow-up, etc.).
- Configurable rules to flag missed or late check-ins.
- Optional notifications (e.g., SMS or email) to caregivers or staff when a check-in is missed, depending on how you configure the backend.
- Ability to attach internal notes to events after a follow-up call.
The Elder Monitor dashboard can be extended to show thumbnails or images associated with specific events (for example, a photo captured by a caregiver or a device). This gives staff or family a quick visual confirmation alongside the call record.
One telephony + cloud platform, multiple applications
ClockMeIn is designed as a general telephony event engine. The same core services that power the Telephone Time Clock also power the Elder Monitor System and future voice-driven applications you may add.
1. Call routing and IVR
Calls to your ClockMeIn numbers are handled by an interactive voice response (IVR) script that prompts for ID, PIN, and action (clock in/out, check-in, etc.).
Menus and prompts are programmable, so different numbers or customers can have customized behavior.
2. Event processing
Each completed call generates a structured event containing at minimum: timestamp, caller ID, action (clock in/out, check-in), and associated user.
These events are written to a cloud database and are available immediately for dashboards and exports.
3. Dashboards and exports
A web dashboard (like the one used for the Elder Monitor System) shows the event history, status flags, and any attached notes or images.
From there you can export data for payroll, reporting, or compliance, and you can build additional views as needed.
